Water Works. Based in Central Virginia and the Tidewater area means Bay Design Group has had years of experience working on Marinas and Resort projects. For example, we designed the site plans and marina structures and handled the complex permitting of Regatta Point Marina (pictured above), a large boat marina in the mouth of Broad Creek in the Rappahannock River.
Recently we worked with The Tides Inn, a premier waterfront golf resort in Irvington, Virginia, to help them plan for 400 new homes to surround the Golden Eagle Golf Course. These low maintenance homes, designed to appeal to the second home market -- people who would enjoy the amenities of the Golden Eagle Golf Course -- needed to meet the standards and expectations of the community. That meant low impact and low density -- meeting the high standards of The Tides Inn and the high environmental standards.
Bay Design Group provided Engineering Support during the re-zoning phase, providing documentation for the zoning proposal, which was accepted.
